Saturday Quick Draw Competition

11693968_642185119230031_2183055943874406597_nThe Quick Draw Competition is a plein air painting competition, exhibit and sale that is open to registered artists.   Artists have only nine blocks and two hours to complete their works.  During this short time, all registered Quick Draw participants will set up their supplies and paint or draw en plein air in downtown Eagle. If you would like to paint in the Quick Draw, check the box on your registration form or email with “Eagle Paint Out” in the subject line.

This is one of the most exciting experiences of the event.  Together, artists and spectators are immersed in the creative process.  See the scenes and how the artists interpret them.  Smell the wet paint and get caught up in the excitement of watching the paintings come to life before your eyes!

Competition painters compete and have fun as they paint in area around Heritage Park. Patrons will be able to watch artists from start to finish during the ‘quick-draw’ from 3pm to 5pm. Follow the paintings across the street to the gallery where the paintings will be auctioned off at 6:30pm. A portion of the proceeds to benefit TVAA. Everything about the Quick Draw is quick…so do not miss out!

The cost to enter for the Quick Draw Competition is included with your $35 registration fee for the Eagle Plein Air Festival. Quick Draw Ribbons will be awarded.

Location: 9 city blocks in Downtown Eagle. The black line is your boundary.
